Andrew Laursen, BSc

Seeking support can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make the process as comfortable and welcoming as possible. I provide a space where you can speak openly, feel heard, and explore what’s happening in your life without pressure or judgment.

I draw from cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. In simple terms, this means we look at what you’re feeling now, what you want to work toward, and what might be sitting underneath the surface. I bring in tools and strategies when helpful, and also make space for honest conversation and reflection.

I have worked with many people, including LGBTQ+ clients, and value an inclusive and affirming space. Everyone comes in with their own story, and I work with you to understand what matters most and what support feels right for you.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my down-to-earth style and the sense of ease they feel in our sessions. Therapy is a team effort, and I meet you where you are with warmth, curiosity, and clarity. I support people dealing with stress, anxiety, low mood, identity questions, relationship concerns, or big life changes. You do not need to have everything figured out.

If you feel we might be a good fit, I welcome you to reach out and connect.
