What this policy covers

This policy covers our website only. It describes what happens when you visit our pages, send us a message through the contact form, or click a link that takes you somewhere else.

Please do not put detailed personal health information in the contact form, and if you are in crisis, call 911 or call or text 988 (the Canadian Suicide Crisis Helpline).

Information you send us

The contact form on our Contact page asks for your full name, email address, preferred contact method and reason for inquiry. Your phone number, a message, and how you heard about us are optional. You also tick a consent checkbox before you send it.

When you submit the form, its contents are sent by email to our inbox at [email protected] so we can reply to you. The website itself does not keep a copy. Your submission is not saved in any database on the website. The email is delivered through Cloudflare, the same company that hosts our website.

Spam protection

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that the person submitting it is a real person and not an automated bot. To do this, Turnstile may process technical information about your browser and device.

How the website is hosted

Our website is served by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver our pages and protect the site.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the website and which pages they view. This information is aggregate, meaning it shows us overall patterns rather than individual visitors. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.

You can block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on.

We do not sell personal information.

Booking, maps and links

Online booking. The "Book Now" buttons on our website link to our booking page on Jane App at lebellandassociatescounselling.janeapp.com. Booking happens on Jane's site, not on ours, and Jane's own privacy policy applies there.

Map. Our Contact page shows an embedded Google Map. Google may collect information when the map loads, under Google's privacy policy.

Facebook. Our website links to our Facebook page. This is a plain link. No Facebook tracking runs on our website.
